    Echuca is a town located on the banks of the Murray River and Campaspe river in Victoria, Australia. The Border town Moama is on the northern side of the Murray river in New South Wales. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Shire of Campaspe. At the 2006 census, Echuca had a population of 12,358.

    Echuca, an Aboriginal name meaning "Meeting of the Waters" is indicative of the role rivers have played in the town's existence. Echuca is situated close to the junction of the Goulburn, Campaspe and Murray Rivers. Its location at the closest point of the Murray to Melbourne contributed to its development as a thriving river port city during the 19th century.

    One Night Itinerary

    Saturday Evening
    5.45pm: Board PS Emmylou
    6pm: Depart Riverboat dock - Watson Street - Berth 4
    7pm: Dinner is served as we cruise upstream away from the Port of Echuca before turning as Horse Shoe Bend. We continue downstream back under the Echuca/Moama Bridge we pass the imposing Echuca Wharf and other Paddlesteamers moored after their day on the river. We cruise 12km along the river passing Morrisons Winery before pulling into our mooring for the evening. 

    Sunday Morning
    7.30am: Fully cooked or continental breakfast is served. Watch the engineer fire up the engine with redgum logs for new steam or enjoy a morning bush walk
    8.30am: We depart Layfield Lane for our cruise back to port, you are welcome to try your hand steering the boat with the skipper or just relax as we cruise back to Echuca
    9.30am: Arrive Port of Echuca for your transfer back to your car or connecting train

    2 Night Itinerary

    Wednesday
    12 noon: Guest registration, 57 Murray Esplanade, Echuca 
    5.30pm: Guest bag drop at PS Emmylou’s berth 4 dock. Watson Street, Echuca.
    Cars transferred to secure parking, return via bus
    5.45pm: Guests Board PS Emmylou. Your bags will be delivered to your cabin
    6pm: Boat Departs for cruise upstream
    7pm: 3 course dinner is served at Redgums Restaurant on the saloon deck
    10pm: Boat pulls into Flemings Bend for overnight stay, campfire weather permitting

    Thursday
    From 7.30am Breakfast is served
    8.30am: This morning your depart via bus on your Wetlands Culture & Wine Day Tour
    9.15am: Arrive at Barmah, Yenbena Indigenous community centre for a cultural dis[play and
    interpretation about Aboriginal Culture and the local Yorta Yorta people.
    10.30am: Depart on Kingfisher Wetland Tour
    Nowhere else in the world can you experience such timeless, natural beauty and peace as
    when you are gliding through the World-Heritage listed Barmah Wetlands aboard the MV Kingfisher.
    12.30pm: Depart for Cape Horn Winery located on the Murray River

    Rich River offers two distinct Championship golf courses, immaculately groomed and playable all year round. The West Course stretches to 6,227 metres off the men’s tees, playing to a par of 72.  Opened in 1979, the West Course has been host to many professional events. It has a tight layout with tree-lined fairways and elevated greens. The East Course is no pushover. Measuring 6,247 metres off the men’s tees, it plays to a par of 72. Redesigned by Peter Thomson in 1998, the East Course is links style with water coming into play on several holes.

    Enjoy a fabulous gourmet escape to the Murray. Fly from Moorabbin Airport to Brown Brother's Winery for lunch before departing on a Overnight Heritage Cruise aboard PS Emmylou. On Sunday enjoy the Wharf to Winery lunch before flying home.

    Day One:
    Sit back and relax in your private twin-engine aircraft as it departs Moorabbin Airport for Brown Brothers Winery located in the magnificent Victorian King Valley at Milawa. This private 6 person tour will have you disembarking at the Brown Brothers airstrip (weather dependent, otherwise Wangaratta) by 11am where you can enjoy morning tea and a guided tour of the Winery which includes the private family cellar. After your tour you will have a private tasting where you can taste wines only available at the Cellar Door.

    Lunch is served at Patricia’s Table restaurant where you will enjoy a glass of sparkling before enjoying a spectacular three course wine and food matched lunch. Head chef Douglas Elder is passionate about using fresh, local produce with the menu changing regularly to reflect availability of freshness of produce and to allow for new wine releases to be showcased.

    After lunch and maybe a snooze in the garden you depart for a quick 40 minute flight to the Paddlesteamer Capital of Australia, Echuca. Here you will be met at the Airport and transferred to the Port of Echuca where you can wander the Historic Port of Echuca before boarding the Iconic Paddlesteamer Emmylou for your overnight cruise departing at 6pm.

    The Emmylou is the only wood-fired paddlesteamer in the world offering regular overnight cruising. Fuelled by red gum logs the paddlesteamer offers modern convenience and some old-world charm. Elegance and style are the order of the day when it comes to catering for your stay onboard the Paddlesteamer Emmylou. Enjoy a three course dinner at Redgums Restaurant followed by an after dinner campfire beside the mighty Murray River as we pull in for the evening. Top local wines including a selection from Brown Brothers, plus a range of alternatives are available from the fully stocked licensed bar all served to your table on the outer deck while you enjoy a glowing rose and gold sunset.

    Day Two:
    After enjoying a hearty fully cooked or continental breakfast aboard PS Emmylou you arrive back at Echuca Port at 9.00am. You have time to explore Echuca before boarding PS Canberra at 11.30am for you cruise to Morrisons Winery. Here you will enjoy a fabulous view from the deck of Morrsions Winery as you enjoy complimentary tasting and a two course lunch. Departing a 1.45pm you enjoy a 30 minute cruise back to the Port of Echcua before being transfer to Echuca airport for the scenic flight back to Moorabbin airport.
