    Mildura is a regional city in northwestern Victoria, Australia and seat of the Rural City of Mildura local government area. It is located in the Sunraysia region, and is on the banks of the Murray River. The current population is estimated at just over 30,000.

    Mildura is a major agricultural centre notable for its grape production, supplying 80% of Victoria's grapes. Many wineries also source grapes from Mildura.

    Its name is taken from the Mildura homestead, an early sheep station which covered most of the area.

    This cruise offers a relaxing two hour cruise down through Mildura's Lock 11 (and return) on board the majestic steam driven, Paddle Steamer Melbourne. A comprehensive live commentary is provided, providing an educational insight on the Murray Darling River system and their environs, and the history of the paddleboats. This cruise has been running continuously for over 45-years and suits all ages. Air-conditioned, heated, all weather boat. Twice daily cruises depart from Mildura Wharf. The morning cruise leaves at 10:50am and returns at 1:00pm with the afternoon cruise leaving at 1:50pm and returning at 4:00pm. A light lunch - sandwiches, cakes, tea/coffee and cool drinks are available on board and the vessel is fully licenced.
    Please note: The Paddle Vessel Rothbury replaces the PS Melbourne on Fridays and Saturdays during off peak periods and annual maintenance periods. Please enquire to check if you specifically wish for the PS Melbourne. EFTPOS facilities are available on board.
