Come on a magical hot air balloon flight over Melbourne - one of the few cities in the world that you can soar above in a hot air balloon! Admire Melbourne's city skyline at early dawn as your balloon flies for approximately one hour and then toast your good fortune with an optional champagne breakfast. You will then be transported to the launch site for your Melbourne balloon flight where you may help with the launch, or stand back and take pictures. Then travel along the foreshore of Port Phillip Bay to visit the ever popular St Kilda area with all its charms and iconic landmarks including Luna Park, the Palais Theatre, St Kilda Pier and the Esplanade Markets (operating on Sundays only). The ultimate bayside tour gives you the time to walk around and explore these sights, including walking out onto St Kilda Pier to take in some great city views and maybe spot a Little Penguin from the colony in the breakwater.

As you will be traveling by Hummer, you'll go were many never dare, exploring paths beyond most reach.

Day 1
Begin the ultimate road trip, cruising towards the Great Ocean Road stopping to watch surfers in action at famed beaches such as Bells Beach and Torquay (home of surf brands Rip Curl and Quicksilver). You will also visit artistic beachside villages of Apollo Bay and Lorne to explore. Next, stop at Kennett River Koalas to see the cuddly creatures in the wild and the historical section of the Great Ocean Road that was carved through cliffs by returned World War I servicemen.

Take an easy walk (1 hour) through the Great Otway National Park, home to some of the world’s oldest temperate rainforest. There’s no better place to finish the day than the famed Twelve Apostles. This spectacular collection of limestone stacks is best appreciated at sunset from the boardwalk. The next morning you will have the opportunity to view it from the skies in a helicopter (additional cost, payable direct). Tonight, sleep in dormitory style accommodation in the dormitory rooms of a backpacker’s hostel on the Great Ocean Road.

Day 2:
Continue along the Great Ocean Road, stopping at several extraordinary rock formations along the Shipwreck Coast, such as the Bay of Martyrs, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge. Enjoy lunch at Tower Hill Reserve, the site of a dormant volcano, lake, wetlands and habitat to lots of wildlife: emus, koalas, kangaroos, possums, echidnas and many types of birds.

Enter the Grampians National Park in the afternoon. Just before sunset when the local wildlife, such as wallabies, kangaroos and kookaburras come out to play, walk (an easy 1 hour) to The Balconies, which provides a magnificent viewpoint and photo opportunity of the surrounding ranges and valleys. Tonight you'll sleep in shared wood cabin accommodation, with the mountains towering around.

Day 3:
Get up to hike a challenging two hours to The Pinnacle, but it’s worth the effort for such awe inspiring views. Visit the Brambuk Cultural Centre to learn about local Aboriginal history. Marvel at the majestic Mt Arapiles, before hitting the highway and arriving into Adelaide city at approximately 7pm.

Your half- or full-day private tour begins with pickup at your accommodation in the Melbourne central business district (CBD) by your private guide.

Day 1: Melbourne to Cape Otway (L,D)
Depart from Melbourne and travel along the Great Ocean Road to Cape Otway. Visit the famed Torquay surf city, a beach town known for its surf culture. Stop at the lovely coastal towns of Lorne and Apollo Bay before arriving at Australia’s oldest lighthouse on the southernmost point of Cape Otway. Continue along the Great Ocean Road and see the Shipwreck Coast, where more than 50 ships met their peril against the rugged coastline in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The most famous was the wreck of Loch Ard, when only two out of 54 people survived and for which the Loch Ard Gorge is named. See the majestic 12 Apostles, a group of limestone rocks formed by the natural elements that jut straight up out of the water.

Day 2: Cape Otway to the Grampians (B,L,D)
Today, continue along the Great Ocean Road and explore the Bay of Martyrs and Bay of Islands known for its ocean views, rock formations and sheer cliffs. Then discover the sleeping volcano of Tower Hill, now a wildlife sanctuary, before arriving at the foothills of the Grampians. Next visit the Brambuk Cultural Center and discover the history and culture of the Indigenous people

Day 3: The Grampians to Melbourne (B,L)
Explore the Grampians on a guided scenic nature walk (Wonderland, Venus Baths or the Balconies); cool off at Mackenzie Falls, see panoramic views of the park from Reeds Lookout and see birdlife and native animals roam free. Return to Melbourne in the early evening.

For those who wish to continue on to Adelaide, there is an option to do this with an on board fee of AUD$30 (payable direct).

Greet the morning sun as you take flight over the Yarra Valley and its vineyards on a Yarra Valley hot air balloon flight. On your hot air balloon flight in the Yarra Valley, the breeze will usher you along the corridors of grape vines and over the Yarra River as you take in the breathtaking views of mountains that surround the valley. You'll have the option to pre-book a gourmet a la carte breakfast which includes a choice of fruit, yogurt, cereal, muesli and a hot breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, tea and coffee, orange juice and Chandon sparkling wine to celebrate your Yarra Valley balloon flight!

Arrive at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium in the early afternoon to check in and learn the time slot for your dive. You’ll then receive a one-hour briefing, which is mandatory for all divers. During the briefing, you’ll meet your guide, go over safety and dive procedures, and learn about the sharks and other animals in the aquarium. Your group is limited to four divers, ensuring personal attention from your guide the entire time. All training will be provided at the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium on the day of your dive, with no previous experience necessary.

Depending on your schedule, you're welcome to explore the aquarium before or after the mandatory briefing. Visit the Conservation Cove to learn about local marine life; head to Seahorse Pier for the largest exhibit of seahorses and seadragons in the world; and spy on a Pinjarra — one of Australia’s largest saltwater crocodiles — at the Croc Lair.

Once it's time to dive, you’ll meet your guide, get your equipment on, and get into the water! Colorful fish dart past you in the 2 million-liter Oceanarium as you swim near the tank's bigger residents including nurse sharks, sevengill sharks, giant stingrays, and sea turtles. Your guide will make sure that you stay safe throughout your half-hour experience.

Basic SCUBA training is provided so that you can delve into the underwater habitat, with no experience necessary. All training will be provided at the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium on the day of your dive.

While you are diving, your friends and family can watch and take pictures of you in the tank — an incredible souvenir of your time with the sharks!

After meeting your tour guide at port, travel North-East approximately 75 minutes towards the picturesque Yarra Valley. Take in some of Melbourne’s incredible sights along the way before arriving in Melbourne’s premium wine region.

Having been known for its premium wines since the 1880’s, the Yarra Valley has its various soil types and rainfall patterns to thank for the distinctive vineyard styles.

With a cooler climate than Bordeaux and a slightly warmer temperature than Burgundy, high quality chardonnay, pinot noir and sparkling wines are the perfect wines for this region. Not only is the Yarra Valley known for it’s wineries, but it’s agriculture, grazing land, beer and scenic, rural atmosphere is starting to become a highlight for every trip.

Visiting the small towns, cafes and bistro’s of the Yarra Valley has made the area the perfect weekend getaway for many Melbourne locals.

Your first stop will be a wine and cheese tasting at De Boroli, one of Australia's most renowned wineries, followed by a visit to Dixsons Creek Winery, one of the smaller local wineries.

Next, travel to Hargreaves Hill Brewery for a tasting paddle of their award winning craft beer as well as a delicious gourmet lunch.

To finish the day, visit the Napoleon Brewery and Cider house for a second tasting paddle and relaxing stop to take in the incredible views of the Yarra Valley.
